IGCSE
Our Middle Years cycle culminates in Grade 9 with the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) examinations.
The IGCSE course is part of the British curriculum and is taught mainly in English, which is our language of instruction. The course begins in Grade 8 and concludes in Grade 9 with official examinations in November which are externally modified. The fact that all exams are sent abroad and corrected by authorised Cambridge Board examiners guarantees the quality of our students’ results and provides our students with an ideal preparation for the demanding IB course that follows in upper years.
All of our students are expected to participate in the process as these international exams will give them the experience and composure needed later on in life when they face the challenges of upper years and university.
